This painting was inspired by my sweet daughter and her penchant for sneaking up on us. Imagine cooking dinner and turning around to see this, a 3’ tall hybrid giraffe-human, wearing her favorite shirt and her brother’s mask, silently string at you. It was cute but slightly creepy in a Michael Myers-esque way. Years later, this still haunted me, so I had to paint it.
