Enchanted

$650.00

30”H x 24”W x 1.5” D

acrylic, ink & graphite on canvas

This painting is called “Enchanted” because he is! The roses in the background should give a hint to the tale that inspired this painting, but as I was painting, I was feeling more and more curious - what makes a beast? Is it the awful emotions, the animal ones, or is it all of the emotions that make us human?

My therapist friends would be so proud 🤣

This is why I LOVE creating a series. The evolution of ideas, the journey of becoming.

My hope is that this colorful painting of a child wearing a wolf hoodie reminds you of your younger self, before you started to listen to the “shoulds.” Because we are all the beauty and the beast, and that is ok.

This is me praying that

This was the very first page

Not where the story ends

My thoughts will echo your name,

Until I see you again.

In "What The Wind Whispers," I invite you into a world where nature, heart, and imagination intertwine. Drawing from fairy tales, folklore, myths, and pop culture, this collection captures moments where the natural world and the human spirit converse in a language all their own. Through vibrant colors and rich textures, this collection explores themes of transformation, self-discovery, and the delicate dance between reality and fantasy. Each piece serves as a reminder to listen to the whispers of the wind, embracing the unexpected and finding inspiration in the stories that nature and the heart wish to tell.
